A friend and I were talking yesterday about positive thinking and how to go about it. I’ve always thought of myself as a positive thinker, however upon further reflection I realized that I really don’t do it nearly as much as I should. It’s almost like deciding you’re going to lose weight, or stop smoking; you have to do it all the time and can’t stop, otherwise you’ll just fall back into your same routine.
So I’ve been doing some Google searches on the subject, because Google knows everything, right? Found …

change,
everything you are
and everything you were
your number has been called
fights, battles have begun
revenge will surely come
your hard times are ahead
best,
you’ve got to be the best
you’ve got to change the world
and you use this chance to be heard
your time is now

In i dina tankar i ditt huvud står jag fri

Instead of a fruit cake this year, order a pound cake from Catherine’s Cakes. Order yours now, or else… Or else what? Exactly…
My name is Catherine and I live with my husband Joe and our two beagles, Jake and Abby, in Chicago, IL. In February, we are finally going to realize our dream of becoming parents when we adopt a baby boy, due on Valentine’s Day!
We are thrilled to be expectant parents, but as you can imagine, there are many financial
hurdles to overcome. That’s why I created “Catherine’s Cakes.”
Every time …

Just a little update to the previous story. (courtesy of Ars Technica)
A couple days ago, when Apple posted its warning that some iPods were shipping with a known Windows virus on them, they made a jab, saying,
“As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses…”
Well, we knew that Microsoft wasn’t going to take that little quip from Apple lying down. Various security experts, some from outside Microsoft and some from within, have responded to the comment as expected:
That statement drew criticism from …

This should probably come as no surprise (Hattip consumerist):
The rate of lost or mishandled baggage spiked by nearly 25 percent in August as airlines struggled to handle a surge in checked luggage after authorities banned most liquids and gels from passenger cabins, according to a government report released yesterday.
The airlines had some trouble keeping up before, now with the layoffs and the increased load it can only get worse. I’m thinking they could learn something from UPS and FedEx, they seem to handle a few more packages a day and …

Most underrated guitarist: DJ Koehler hehe
Music that moves me to tears: Even though it’s modern and I’m ashamed “Adagio for Strings” by Samuel Barber
Most unusual lead-in for a piece of music: I can’t think of any, so I’ll say “Ear Parcel” by Lamb, because it’s unusual all around.
Coolest Name for a Rock Band: Anthrax… I mean, come on…
Worst genre of music: I agree with Cathy: the “American Idol” genre of women who sound like their toe is …
