After I finish this ham steak, I will devour your soul!Found an pretty cool website today inadvertently through a FARK post. Plan59.com is an online museum and gift shop of mid-century illustration.

I’ve always liked the look of mid-century illustration, and it’s very ripe for caption parody. One of the more disturbing pages on the site is “DeMoNiC ToTS and Deeply Disturbing Cuisine” where you’ll find demonic looking children of the corn style kids in advertising like ham girl on the right who screams “After I finish this ham steak, I will devour your soul!” This site, along with “The Gallery of Regrettable Food” have to be some of my favorite websites to visit every now and then.

    Ahhhh, I could spend all day on that site, and I’ve read it 1000 times. I really should buy the book.
